97 4L60E advice..
HI, i am working on a 97 4L60e trans that lost reverse, anyway i found the reaction drum busted.. but before that it shifted exellent..
ATSG also recomends that you remove and discard the load and release spring assemblies for a much improved 2-3 shift on all models.. since this isnt going to be a racer, would this help? or would it be distructive?
I would like better shifting qualities with out braking it..
Is this a good idea??
