are the f body 4l60 converters the same as the 5.3 4l60 trucks?

how would the extra 1000+lbs effect a vig 3200?

 

They are interchangable. It would definitely feel looser in the truck than the car. I'd like to see something a little tighter in a truck like yours. Our Saturday Night Special would work good in your application. It would stall around 2300 in your truck and be much more drivable than that 3200 converter.
