4L60E oil level question

4L60E oil level question So first thing what is the total capacity of a standard box and is the level above the sump gasget line when not running.I seem to be getting leakage out of the wiring connector which I guess would only happen if the oil level was way up there.Strange but it does not happen most of the time,then I notice it's dumped quite abit.

Its about 12.5 quarts and yes when the car is not running the level is higher than the plug .
If the plug is leaking you will need to replace the trans internal wiring harness and or the o ring around the plug depending on which ones leaking.
