I am selling a 94 4L80E out of a Chevy 2500 and the person who wants it has a 96 Isuzu box truck with a 5.7 and 4L80E. Does anyone know if this trannys electronics will work and the tranny will fit in the box truck?

If it has the same Tranny why wouldn't it fit?

Is the Tranny coming out of the Truck a 4WD Tranny?

Well I was 99% on it fitting but the electronics in the tranny is what I wasnt sure about. I dont want to sell the tranny and have the guy go through all the trouble putting it in then the thing wont shift....

Both trucks are 2wd

the biggest thing would be the cooler lines, but it wasnt untill 97 that they moved one towards the back, so if there in the same place, your ok there-
the elects. prob will be the same, around 93 they changed the case plug to an upgraded one
