Default Props to Circle D and Performabuilt

I posted in the Drag racing results forum but wanted to throw a quick kudo's out to Performabuilt transmissions and Circle D converters here. Absolutley awesome performing stuff from both companies. Circle D put my car on the bumper and the 4L60 Performabuilt shifted like the bricks! 405 SAE dynojet RWHP (stock shortblock) and a 1.31 60' 10.14@130.9mph.

Thanks to both of these great vendors

That 60 is moving. That was the first time out, I bet there are some 1.2's once you get it dialed in and dare I say 9's??? This is a new converter combo we are working on for NA motors, more info is coming. Here is the link to the drag racing post.

Thanks you for trusting us to build your converter, we appreciate it!

No, it is something else we are working on. But the 5C did put TXCAMSS on the bumper, good guess.

Awesome 60ft man!!!

FWIW- The link in my sig has a video of us launching off the transbrake with the same converter. The front was tightened up for that very reason

It's a sweet converter no doubt.

I have a Yank SS3600 but if I ever have to replace it I will probably go with a circle D converter. Lots of good reviews on them lately.

If your referring to me it was off a footbrake. Here are some more vids from our rental.

This is the one where I really stood on the converter hard and it resulted in a set of soiled pants.

This is my PB pass a 10.14@130.9 did not give it the same converter stand as in the video above but still cracked off a 1.31 60'.

I am so beyond happy with this converter as I have stated in the past I would not replace it for anything.

I'm not surprised. I was just glad you didn't tear anything up. The torque converter is the single most important component of an efficient and effective set up.

Nice vids man!
