tranny problems need advise so, my old trans went out on me with a tcistreet fighter converter.. i was putting it back stock after this so i got a stock trans and converter from a rockville auto parts in md. installed it filled fluids and took it for a 2 mile run, worked fine... i was leaving my parents house headed home and got on it alittle bit went to revlimiter and didnt shift.. i let out then gave it some gas and felt lke i was in neutral didnt matter what gear you put it in besides park. at idle i hear the converter clanking around i think.. pulled the trans back out and converter was attached to the flywheel.. i pulled the converter off and there was no fluid in it it was all in the trans????? the only thing i can think off is maybe the oil lines were switched or something.. any ideas why no oil was in the converter and the trans had it all??? thanks in advance guys...
Are you saying you pulled the trans and left the converter bolted to the flex plate. If so is this how you installed it also ?
