what is all needed to run a 4l70e in a 01ss?

is it just the wiring issue or do i have to buy any special suspension parts for clearance? like the torque arm?

 

The 4l70e for the most part will be a bolt in application providing it is a 2wd. There are a couple differences on the internals in the wiring but that will not be a problem. You will have to swap the shifter linkage because yours is a short design. Also the 2nd gear servo is a little bit larger than what came in your factory unit from your car. It will still work regardless. Also if you are using a torque arm mounted tail you will have to swap your original tail onto this trans or purchase a torque arm that does not bolt to the tail. Vince
