Default 4l80e work with lt1?

new to transmissions, had a question, will a 4l80e work on an 94 lt1 out of a camaro?

if so what needs to be done to make it work?
can i just get a 4l60e torque converter to work in it?

I bet the controller costs more than your good deal on the trans.
What year is the trans?

I run my 4L80e full manual. Much easier and saves a ton of money. You can do it with a Rossler Plug in module, Trangso Stage 3 Kit, or Trinity. I'm going to be doing write ups on all of these included in the Rossler transbrake in a few months.

You'll need a converter, I suggest Edge or Vigilante. Edge is a bit cheaper. If you want a Vigilante I might cut you a deal on my 3200 Vigilante LT1/4L80e converter.
