rebuilding the 4l60e
rebuilding the 4l60e I have it out of the car to install a transgo HD2 kit, and put a converter in. I have all new seals, new filter, pan gasket, and a brand new stock band I can use if I don't order a new one...
What all should I put on my parts list?

red eagle band
3/4 clutches
would replacement stock clutches be enough? I work at a chevy dealer, so getting gm parts is the fastest thing. The tech tha does all the major trans work for our shop will be doing a lot of the actual trans work, so no problems there...
I don't see myself being over 400hp any time soon, but what are some good parts to replace while I'm in here?

You can use the 4L65E 3-4 clutch set up , which is a 7 clutch pack . You can use early thinner steels to add a clutch or two . Make sure you only use the High-Energy frictions .
The 4L65E frictions are .065in. thick and the 700/4L60E are .080in thick .
