Default Is My Tranny Going???

ok i have a 99 trans am with the stock transmission with 119k on it.
whenever i go to speed up sometimes, when it shifts from 1st to 2nd it will jerk me forward like it doesnt catch at first. then it will start going again.
sometimes it does it once throughout the shift and sometimes it does it 2 or 3 times.
what could cause this? i am changing the fluid tomorrow to see if it helps.

im having the same problems. i first went to autozone to have them scan and make sure there were no codes (there wasnt), then i had the trans fluid and filter changed, and im still having the problem. My fluid level was good and the fluid wasnt worn either. its possible the clutch is wearing out as you might have some shavings in the pan when it gets drained (look for some, cause i did).

its like a jumping feeling like its trying to go but its struggleing for a second.

the closest thing i can relate it to is like when your driving a stick and you get a bad start it jerks you forward a couple times then you start going. but for me it does it around the 35 mph mark

That actually sounds more like some engine runnig issue than a trans issue

but wouldn't you think if it was an engine problem that it would do it everytime it hits that rpm? not just at the 1-2 shift?
