Default Separating 4l60e from motor?

Anyone have any tips on how to get this turd off my motor? All bellhousing bollts, converter bolts, and harnessess are disconnected. I have soaked the dowl pin areas in WD-40 for the last two days, and this thing just will not break away from the block, and I can't really come up with any good areas to try to pry with a BFS. Any tips?

ratchet strap the tail to your rear end & ratchet & pry a little at a time until she pops off.........

make sure all bolts are out first !

I use a 3' crow bar right where you removed the plastic dust shields. pops right off.

If you have all the bolts out included the one on the top center then a little prying is in order.

The only saving grace is that the bellhousing is replaceable should it incidentally get cracked.

You forgot to curse and swear at it while doing so. These things can be tough and all the above advise is needed in cases such as yours. Vince

I truely have no idea what to do at this point. For the last three days I've beat on, pounded on, wiggled up and down, side to side, and pryed on this thing, and it will just not budge. Ive double, tripple, and quadruple checked that EVERY bellhousing and converter bolt is out. I don't know what else to do.

Pull the driveshaft (If you havent already) and youll need to pull it back from the motor. Did you get the bolt up top?

Have a flatbed come haul it to a transmission shop.
Seriously.

THREE DAYS! I don't know how many hours or what tools you're working with but 3 days is 71.8 hours too long.

Not trying to be a dick but come on, let my comments **** you off and go out there remove the damn thing.

I've beat the **** out of this thing. BFH, crowbar, kicked it, punched it, hung from it, nothing works. I know all bolts are out. It doesn't make sence.
