3600 or bigger for sure. It sounds like a lot but it really isn't bad at all.

It also depends greatly on what your going to use your car for. I would highly recommend you call one of the sponsers on this board and have them work w/you on your set up. I used Frank at performabuilt to help me on what TQ stall to use for my car and driving needs. I asked alot of questions and Frank took the time and had the patience to deal w/all my crazy questions, espeacially w/the STR pick for my application.

I got my converter from a sponsor and i have a built trans from perfomabuilt, so i i think am doing alright at the moment.
95% of cammed cars will perform better with a 4k than with a 3200 stall..

stock cars.. might be a little different with a 4k because of the cam size..

when i put my 3200 in my full exhaust car it was still dead at a 40-50 punch. not as bad as before the stall but i could still tell. now with a cam its breaking the tires at a 35-50 punch going into the bottom of second. i think stock cars need at least a 3600. also, i have a tr224 and it makes power everywhere so i dont think i NEED a 4000 stall but it may help a little.

Sorry you took it that way? I was just paraphrasing to get to the point of 8urford2002 using a sponser, so they got a TQ for their application. I wasn't referring to your set up or knowledge.
