Default got issues, need help pls.

94 Impala SS:
Wife pulled in the driveway the other day and we heard a loud clunk/bang. She stopped and tried to back up. It was like the brakes were locked up. Finally something popped (OUCH type of sound)
SO in the garage it went.
I checked the rear end (good), d/s(good) and then tranny. Using the d/s, it turned one way (fwd) but then would not go the other. Yes it was in Neutral.
This is the 3rd tranny this car has had. 1st at 27k warranty work, 2nd at 95k GM rebuilt. the car now has 165k on it and it's finally had it.
The car has a Hotcam setup with custom aluminum heads (by moi) and we still haven't even hit the N2O yet (good thing too). It also has a B&M holeshot2400.

So, for the tranny experts, is this thing toast?

I believe it's Frank?
Anyway, you guys were the first on my list. Before you guys were a sponsor here, I was reading all your info on ebay and loved the things you've done with the 60e's.
I wish I was still in Pa, I would just drive there to pick one up.
Any military discounts?
We'll be in contact very soon for a Lvl 2
