Allison is now using Dex VI. Dexron VI was development specifically for the GM 6 speed. |

DexVI would VOID the warranty on these transmissions, and circa I believe 2006 it would cause physical problems due to seal compatibility issues. TranSynd is a better fluid if you want to pay for it. I was Just pointing out that some Allisons did go to Dex 6. |
