First any of the sponsors here should be able to handle a 60e in that power range, But I would also like to question what type of failures are re occurring here,
Is it the same thing over and over? Has it been the same transmission each time?
I ask because there are variables outside the trans that can also cause rapid failure.

I would think your best bet is to buy a built one from one of the sponsors on this board. I just bought a performabuilt Level II and i'm pushing under 400 HP right now. I plan on doing some future mods so i bit the bullet now as not to have whats happening to you.

definitely get ahold of the sponsors that know how to correcty build your tranny to hold up. read up on too many horror stories of people who think they have a bullet proof tranny built, only for it to break in less than a week.

We are a sponsor, can build a transmission to hold your power, and we are local - North Side of Houston. But same questions as performabuilt, what keeps failing?

Well different failures anyway, Perhaps the trans was set up to shift to aggressively I have actually see shops completely block accumulation and or run the line pressure way to high . But again Ourselves or any of the sponsors here should be able to meet your needs.
I would state also that while yes its not impossible to find a local trans shop to build a 4l60e to handle some power. It is not common at all. Most regular local trans shops do not specialize in anything they are basically transmission general repair shops. Which primarily consist of parts changing with very little understanding of how stuff works.

Performa hit it on the head. Most local shops are not performance specialists. I came from the Detroit area back in the 70's. Honed my craft and educated myself. Moved to a smaller town and started a business. Hired and taught my employees, advertised, warranted, campaigned cars, sponsored tracks, in other words, in a smaller town where there aren't performance shops within hundreds of miles, provided a responsible service to customers who needed it. I've been embarrassed by others greed and BS stories and helped many of those customers without compensation to let them know there is honor in this business. It comes to due diligence. Sometimes you just can't find who you need to help you in your area, but today you have places like this that have testimonials that you can trust and hear the knowlege they exude. I wish you success with your project and hope these guys can restore your confidence.
