Yes it will hold.

You need the search function and all your ?'s will be answered.

I'll even break it down for you. Go to search. Click "advanced search". Select "titles only". Type 4l80e. Click search. Read all those. Go back and type 4l80 swap, read all those. Try different variations. If there is something specific you have a question on, by all means ask. The generic "what do I need" will most likely be ignored since it's been covered quite a few times.

Doing this...here is what you need.
You need a trans..I am going with stage 5 flt most likely.
New stall that will work with 4l80e. I am going with yank converter.
Crossmember to mount 4l80e. I got bmr crossmember.
You need to get torque arm relocation on the crossmember or else use chassis mount torque arm the 4l80e has no provision on back for torque arm mounting.
Flexplate to work with the 4l80e and aftermarket stall like yank. I got speed inc flexplate.
Trans cooler is good idea..I got b and m trans cooler.
You need upper console for an auto piece.
You need auto shifter or maybe b and m shifter.I am going with stock shifter.
You don't really need auto pedals you can use manual.I plan on auto pedals at some point.
You need a m6 to 4l60e converter harness and then a 4l60 to 4l80e adapter but there is a company making m6 to 4l80e conversion harness should be out shortly.I would likely just get that.
You need either tuning program like hptuners to make the trans work if not using a manual valve body or some other conversion box that will make the trans work electronically. I have hptuners so just use that.
Driveshaft is same length as stock and believe m6 trans mount will work.
So thats pretty much what you need.

For the tuning aspect, you will have to send your current .bin file to hptuners for them to create a custom OS for your car. Or the user ec-tune on the hptuners forum can do it for you.
