Going for trans fluid tomorrow

Filter, pan gasket, rubber lines and fittings to do the converter (if it shows by Friday). To be safe how many quarts to fill it all? Any special filter, fluid, etc... that works better for these cars?

I would have a case on hand probably will use 9-10 quarts and dexron. 3 or better.
