hey guys got a couple of questions, not all dealing with transmissions. I have a new ls1, but my question is on my 79 trans am. It has a 403 bored and stroked to 427. I got the th400 tranny built and was wondering how long it will be until it is fully broke in and can race. Any certain break in ways? Also I was wondering, is it safe to run open headers for a while. I drive about 8 miles to school and back. The motor puts out 452 hp and 418 tq on the dyno, is it ok to run open headers for about a week with that much driving.
