Default Car free revs, no gears?

I have a sponsors trans in my car currently, well as I was driving to work this morning, out of nowhere with no warning signs the car just began to free rev when I would hit the throttle. I pulled over, then pushed the car an eighth of a mile by myself into a parking lot. There are no fluids dripping, however the car has no forward or reverse gears. When selecting gears the car doesn't even feel like it's slotting into them.

I am thinking the trans is shot, but what do y'all think?

Mine does this every now and then on the highway. I just rev it up in gear and it comes back?

Check the basics like the fluid level. It could be a converter or broken hard part such as the pump.

As mentioned there is a whole host off possibilities, First thing I would do is remove a cooler line and start car and check for fluid flow of course after making sure its full of fluid.
Then contact the vendor you got the trans from for additional options
