is it worth ordering a shift kit since i still have the stock tune with TQ, and im just wanting a shift kit to add a little kick to the car for now cause i cant afford any big mods and i just feel like getting one.

 

Are you having Torque Management issues?

 

I would like to know how the shift kit will interact with the TM?

With my stock tranny, I can time the 2-3 shift with an hourglass...

 

With a '99 it's not likely to cause problems.

 

no im not having any problems with it i was just wondering if the TM was going to damper the shift kit too much.(or at all)

 

well my TCI kit is going in over the long weekend so hopefully by monday or tuesday ill give you guys a progress report. Hopefully we can put the myth to rest or maybe it does exist. We'll see, but its the only mod im doing this weekend so if im chirpin em into 2nd ill consider that a winner
