I have a TCI flexplate, it is a fine quality unit and is SFI certified.
BTW, standards have flywheels, autos have flexplates. Just an fyi.

That would be the one, part number 399753.
Be sure and replace the bolts with ARP bolts, they are fairly inexpensive. You'll need the 6 pack, of course. Of bolts and Bud, most likely.

i was thinking the bolts that fit the factory stall are m10 x 1.5. with the tci flexplate you will definatly need longer bolts because that flexplate is thicker. i am not exactly sure what size bolts fit the performabuilt stall.

Not sure on the flexplate bolts. They (TCI) don't claim it needs different bolts.
And you are correct, he should replace the TC bolts as well. IDK why they would be different from stock, but Frank should know on both, he knows his stuff.
A non-sponsor (rhymes with "plummit") has the parts for less $$.

i do know the torque converter bolts on the tci stalls are a little larger than the stock ones. i am thinking they are 7/16" if i remember correctly. my yank uses 10 mm ones.
