will a 4l60e handle 500 hp with just a stall and everything else stock????

That is to much power for the stock 4L60E to handle. It will be when not if it will go. Although it does depend on how easy you drive it and how high it shifts. If you were to baby it might last a while, but why have 500HP if you are not going to use it. I see a built trans in your future.

Agreed a stock 60e is not gonna live long in that situation if you use the power much at all .

Its unanimous, it depends on how you drive it and how much abuse you want to put it thru.
