Default 4l80e QUESTION

Has anyone used this new rosslock built by Carl Rossler,How does it act when you shift any delay? I don't want to mod the valve body cause later on I might want to go back to full auto instead manual shift.

manual,it is a little box that plugs in the side of the trans that allows full manual shifts with out having to mod the valve body and you can get it with a transbreak but I believe that has or comes with a different valve body. I think you just unplug it and plug the other plugin to the comp when you want to go back to reg auto.

You can shift an auto with a simple switch box if you desire with out modifying the valve body. As for a T-brake you have to modify the V.B. and it is usually to the extent that you need a new V.B to go back to a full auto. You can also use our autoshifted t-brake with a switch box and just plug in controls later when you want to.

I don't have a link to it at this time. There is and MDS programmable box that can be modified to use. MSDProgrammable Shift ControllerPN7559 (kinda of expensive after you modify it to manually shift. I can sell you a PCS controller and harness for $800 and you'd be done with it.

Yea I was trying to avoid using a standalone controller. would rather mod the valve body and go fullmanual then do a stand alone no offense. This new rosslock hybird box just might be what Im looking for and its a little less then 300 bucks.
