i was hooking up my Abbott speedometer converter, and it says to hook up 1 wire to the sensor, and the other ground, and +12
it shows the sensor as an output, and ground-i cant tell which contact is which-i tried an ohm meter, fig if one was grounded, i could tell from the meter, but it just shows both leads as open-does it matter which is grounded?
i think the sensor is just an induction coil?, but the gm wiring shows it like there is a diff, hi sig and low sig

as im looking at the drawing, is the top or bottom pin "A"-i cant see up in the trans tunnel if its marked a or b on the sensor, kind of tight
the sensor is actually 180 degs from the pic, looking from the back of the trans, so its easier to just go off your drawing, top or bottom
thanks
i hope this motor driven converter isnt to loud, as its gonna be under the dash
of course i cant hear the radio, so prob couldnt hear this thing either, lol
