First- can anyone tell me or show me in a pic where and how to air check my trans.

Second- if i spin the input shaft clock wise it spins freely and if i turn it the other way it will not turn. also it turns solid like its in third. i think this is all normal but want reassurance.

This is my first real build and want everything to work on the first try.
