Default Quick question, 3 speed/4 speed shifter difference?

I've got the opportunity to pick up a pro-matic 2 shifter for a good price. I'll be using the 4 speed 200-4r and it's coming off of a 3 speed th400 setup. Will this work with the purchase of a small bracket or anything like that? Can it be made to work with my setup? Thanks in advance!

What ever became of this? I am considering the same thing. I really like to look of the Pro Matic 2 shifter for my 4L60E, but not sure if I can make work.
