Default TCI, is there going to be any upcoming new converters?

I was wondering if ya'll had anything up ya'lls sleeve or in the process of working on a new designed converter. Lots of competition out there and are always coming out with something new. What do you have in store for us? Thanks

TCI is currently working on a 4000 stall that will have the hit of their 4400 and efficiency of their 3500. We will be testing one of their newest 4400's in the TSP Project Z in a week or so.

We have several new converter combination in the works, from mild to wild.

For the truck guys that want 300-400 rpm more than stock, we have a new Saturday Night Special converter, part # 242935. It's worth a couple tenths through the quarter on a 4.8 truck and around 1.5 tenths on a 5.3 truck.

We have a new High Torque Towing converter for those truck guys with the 5.3 or 6.0 engine that want to decrease slippage and reduce heat when they're pulling their trailers.

For the guy that wants around 800-900 rpm over stock we have our new Breakaway converter, part number 242938. It's built from the same 245mm core that we use on our Streetfighter and Super Streetfighter converters, so it's fully upgradeable if you want a restall to something more performance oriented. We advertise a 2500 stall speed, but it goes 2700-2800. It works great with N2O too!

Stay tuned for our new steel stator LS1 Ultimate Street Fighter Converters.

What converter do you offer for street and strip? The car isnt a daily, but most of its use is on the street. I dont want to over-do it on the street, but I do want the car to perform well at the track. In other words, I dont want a converter thats going to make me not want to drive the car on the street, but when its time to get serious at the track, its time to roll! Im not too crazy about street racing, so Im not looking for anything that will perform well on the street with street tires. Im wanting a 3800 stall speed, between a 2.5 and 2.7 str, high efficiency and high shift extensions. On the street I will be running my regular wheels and tires, but for the strip, its ET Streets! :p It will be going in a bolt-on cam car, with full suspension, N/A, using a 200-4R. (do ya'll make converters for LS1s that use that particular tranny? Im guessing LS1 bolt patter, but 200-4R shaft) Is there anything thats "in the works" or out as of now that suits my criteria? Thanks to the both of you for your input.

NVmySS, You need a TCI part # 243020. It's a Super Streetfighter 3800 stall for a 2004R. You can special order it from us with the LS1 bolt pattern and pilot length. It hits hard with a 2.6 STR and good efficiency as well. Let me know if I can help you further.

JS, I'll get you some Email on the way.
