Yank ST3500 problems
1)When I tach the car up to say 1700-2000 rpms it does nothing ! Feels like a damn trailer is hooked to the car...bogs so to say .
2)When I was sitting at a stoplight I felt two terrible jolts as if the car had been hit in the rear .
3)The car does not want to run dies out

I have LS1 Edit(done by MTI) on the car programmed for the stock stall and a MTI T1 cam, stock 3:23 gears .
My question is will reprogramming the car deal with these problems or is the converter BAD ? I'm LOST
#3 the converter probably has a higher STR so there is always more fo a load on the motor which bogs it more than stock so it drops below its idle speed and dies.
#2 were you about to start moving or did you just stop? or was nothing at all going on? if nothing was happening i think something is wrong. i would talk to the guy who installed it.

The car wil no move in overdrive 1st gear is the only gear that moves the car period and can't go over 50mph due to rpms maxing out . The converter will not lock when I was able to go 70 mph it was tachhig over 3k rpms with 3:23 gears . Also the tranny fluid is brown or burnt in color . I feel I was sold a bad converter by a fellow LS1.com member . My only recourse now is to put stock converter in and hopefully GM will cover it under warranty . The Yank will have to be sent off for service . The converter not locking maybe a programming issue.
Send the converter back to Yank for cleaning and inspection. I would also ask Mike about updating the clutch to the new material he is using now.

Fraudulent warranty claims are one of the reasons cars cost as much as they do.
Your best bet would have been to send the converter straight off to Yank before it was ever installed in your car.The responsibility lies with the consumer and pointing fingers is not going to help once the damage is done. With a little planning situations of this nature can be totally avoided.
Just my opinion
