Default Need stall speed opinions

Hello everyone , I have a 94 Rx-7 with an ls1/4l60e transplant and I will be in the market for a higher stall shortly. The car has a 3:90 rear gear and only weighs around 2900lbs.I am in the process of building a 383 stroker with AFR205s and a mild cam.Low end torque and throtle response is what I find fun in a street car. This RX-7 is a street car with air-conditioning that was built for fun and weekend trips to Chicago from Ohio.It may never see the strip.
The converter in it now wants to push a little through the brakes at a light but I like how there is no slop/looseness when I get on the gas. I need some opinons a new stall for the stroker. I am looking for a converter that will not want to load the brakes at a stop light but not be very loose either.I can tollerate some looseness but I don't want have to rev the hell out of it just to get the car moving from a stop.I also like to drive the twisty roads more than the dragstrip. 2800 stall ?

What stall is in it now? Stock 300MM? We have several options for you. THe first is out 11" 2800, then we an also build a 258MM that would suit your needs.
