Default How to hook up vacuum modulator?

I bought an 84 z28 with the l69 5.0 HO/4bbl - It was originally equipped with a 700r4, the guy I bought it from swapped in a TH400 from a 78 400sbc Blazer. well, driving it home i noticed it wont shift properly, i started ripping it apart for the 355 swap I had planned, and noticed the vacuum mod is not hooked up to anything. anyone know where to hook it up on these cars? I know the 700 is not vacuum modulated, is there even a place you can hook one up? any help will be appreciated.

Had mine hook to the brake booster for over a year without issues.

Basically I have a T in the booster line with large sides going into the booster line, and a small tip connecting a vacuum tube to the tranny.
