4l60e problem - Help! I have a 1995 trans am with a 4l60e. It is doing something very odd that I need advice on. When I am driving the car and it starts to go into OD the car shakes and feels like I hit a rough patch on the road. It only does this when driving with restraint. When I get on it or go into OD when the rpm's are a little higher there is no signs of the shaking or rough feeling. Any of ideas?
are you sure its not the converter locking?

You might try raising the lockup point what type converter is it ?
