Default Changing convertors, do I need to retune?

About to swap from a Yank SS3600 to a Circle D 4C+. Since the Circle D has a higher stall speed, was wondering if a tuning adjustment was necessary? My tuner uses HP Tuners.

Each car and setup is different so it really depends. Circle D converters in general are pretty tight and so is the SS3600. I switched from a Yank PT4000 to a Circle D 5C which required no additional trans tuning. It's actually tighter around town.
