Default possible transmission problem...

So this is my problem, the other day i was out cruising around at late night hours. Where there wasnt much traffic, and i hit it from a low 30mph and get upto about 70 then let off and let it coast then slow down for the redlight im coming up on. Well as im slowing down i notice somethings a bit off, and i get the car to stop and turn my signal to turn, then begin the turn and as i finally let off the break completely after ive turned. The car like takes off by itself as if i pushed the gas but i didnt. So i just thought for a second & drove it up to the speed limit 35mph and i hit the brakes soflty and get it to 30mph & i let off the brakes and i notice that the car's just going at 30mph, not slowing down at all. Like it just stayed there in gear or something, rpm stayed in the same place too. So i quickly turned off to a small street, i literally had to hit the brakes hard to stop the car. ABS light came on at this point, i put it in park. turned it off and let it sit for a bit. Then started back up and drove off to see if it did that again which didnt seem to do it again. Went straight home from there.

Would you guy's happen to know what's going on here?? Is it my transmission, gear's or something related??

sounds like the TCS was whacking out the actuator could have had a glitch in it and held the throttle open a little
