3-4 clutch pack ?

3-4 clutch pack ? well i am freshening up my 4l60 and have a ? on how do you shim the 3-4 clutch pack to get what you need for clearance?
i had red eagle's and they were like .024 i think and worked great for a year.
and a year is fine for the power lever and abuse it gets i just want to make sure i get that great 2-3 shift i had before the last time to the track when my trans had an allergic reaction to the blue bottle. LOL
thinking of trying the raybestos z pack this time. I just dont see how you can change the clearance.
I looked on 4l60-e .com and saw no shims and i really don't know where else to look for info on this so i thought i would ask here

+ 1. You need a final clearence of .020-.030". Go to a trans shop with your drum ready to install the clutches and see if they have the proper pressure plates to adjust the clearence.
yes selective presure plates and retaining rings are needed. I have found of note that many tyimes with the Zpack if you use the stock top presure plate in stead of the thinner one that comes in the set you ussually come out very close to right on.

I just wanted to say thank you . when the day comes my back yard fixes wont work due to my hp level i will be calling you guys for a real built trans just due to the point you always answer every question asked. seems like above and beyond what i have seen before from any vender in the performance market engine ,drivetrain,suspension or trans
