what is a good shift kit. TCI, Transgo?

for the non builder a transgo or superior kit is best the TG is a little more involved the superior kit is alot easier and gets the job done

The Trango is a good kit but in fact does require to fully use it the removal of the trans and dissassembly, The superior kits good for the regular guy and same with the TCI

i have read that is beneficial if you install a shift kit. But how does add a spring here and a ball there help?

By increasing volume and to some extent presure to hold the clutches during the shift and to keep them holding under power.
