Help New trans/converter wont hold fluid
Well also I have seen this install error.
If you use the bolts to pull the converter to the plate rather than having the converter flush against the plate it can create the same wobble affect and of course it could have just happened. I have seen it before happen with no real explanation I could find.
Now also consider if there is any blueing on the converter hub where it meets the bushing you should also check for cooler restriction either in the lines or the cooler it self.

Sorry to hear about your luck, it happens man....could have been worse though. When I fried my last tranny, the car was down for about a month
. Hopefully it's not too bad internally. On the bright side, it looks like Xtreme trans and Circle D are taking good care of you. We're very fortunate to have the wonderful sponsors we have!!

Bushings don't need to be loctited in. Thats usually done for reasons I won't say. But it's not a common practice to install a converter and take the bushing out to loctite it in place.
That may solve the problem, but thats not what caused the problem.
