Default YANK stall

ok what stall do i get a 3600yank or a 4000yank and how much do they cost. my setup is torque 2 cam, bbk intake, lt headers, p&p tb, lid, 3.73 gears, umi lower control arms and rebuild transmission. it will be my dd car. but is a 4000 stall to big for a dd, and what is a lock up and non lock up in a transmission mean. Help me out, and what is a ss yank series does that mean street/strip

I would go to the yank website and read the descriptions or call them to see which would be best for your goals.

I have a ss4000. It is pretty rockin!

Personaly I would get a competition converter from FTI but then again I am a little biased. LOL. Something like the SRLS series billet 9.5" With your combo a 3800 would work well an=d still drive wella s a DD. Lock up is acheived in the converter with a converter clutch. You will want to retain this feature as it keeps heat down and fuel mileage up. Our converters have a billet lock up piston with a special proprietary high performance lining.Go to our website and check them out. They are on sale to LS board users as well.

Of your choices, SS4000, especially with the 3.73's. Great street/strip converters....and very, very popular in the LSX community. Three year warranty and legendary Yank performance! It's a lock-up type which means it'll lock up on the highway and act just like the stock one did. MPG won't be affected at lock-up speeds. I had one and liked it, but I wanted more. However, for a daily driver, it's hard to beat. Call Yank, they'll take really good care of you.
