Default Explain to me loss of HP though a slipping A4

My 99 Vette A4 w/twin T28's only dynod 370 on Thunder Racing's dyno a few months ago. Shop said something was wrong with the car but didn't know what and didn't want to mess with it anymore because he said he had it tuned to his comfort zone max, yet the Car was running and driving perfect anf fast but yet just 370rwhp. Very shortly after that, the tranny just lost 3rd and 4th instantly and it they never came back. I had it rebuilt and then took it to the track and ran a 11.4 @121 on 19in street tires. That shows it to be bout 485RWHP. >>>>>>>>>>>

So my question is this, Even tho my tranny did not feel like it was slipping , could it have been when it dynoed 370?

and if so, How do I know at any given time that I am putting 100% RWHP down or maybe losing some though slippage?

and I would think that if I'm only showing 370 on the dyno that that means I'm only putting down 370 to the ground, when I race and I'm losing to cars that I shouldnt. With a good tranny and no other mods I should then be much quicker on the street. I only say all that because last night I lost to a guy that I beat before and my trans temp was waaaay up, so I'm figuring that I lost alot of rwhp due to slippage YET I FELT NO SLIPPAGE, car drives great. PLZ HELP

BTW: I do have a Vigilante 2800 stall if that matters. I never stall the car tho because it would boil the tires down to nothing.

automatic loose more pwoer than a manualc ar anyway because it's not a direct link engine to trans. plus when you ahve a bigger stall converter it "slips" more so then you automatically SEE big losses on a dyno but they show their true value on the track.

as for it gonig uot its a 4l60e they really aint the best......

I had a similiar problem I was loosing 800rpm between the crankshaft and the rearend, by using HP tuners it showed up on the dyno. We compared it to another A4 and he was only loosing 70rpm, shortly after I lost the 3/4 clutch pack.
