Hey guys, Im reinstalling my stage 3 Rossler tranny after Be Cool sent me a bum radiator which ruined it last summerIt got the deep B&R trans pan and was wondering how many quarts should i put in before fireing ? Ive got 8 in so far, and if my memory serves me isnt it like 12 quarts?

If you have 8 qts in it you are definitely ready to fire it up and top it off. I think with that pan you are going to get around 12 qts in there. Vince

Thanks man!! So just go ahead and put in 4 more then ??then fire? just to be on the safe side

The reason im saying put all 12 in now is because ive got one of those 1/4 stainless flex tranny hose / lines that i had to install to clear my custom coil pack brace i made and it takes awhile to get a quart of tranny fluid down this thin line!

http://s243.photobucket.com/albums/f.../APs%20Engine/ and as you can see from these pics LOL I had to really bend and twist the stock tranny line to even get it to here this is why i replaced with a 4L60 stainless braided flex line instead !

Normally you would fill the trans until the trans reads to the full mark with the engine off. Then start the engine and continue filling while running. In your case if you have a very small fill tube, you might want to start the engine for lets say 10-15 seconds and then shut it off. Repeat the fill procedure until it is close. Once you are close with the engine running just top it off. Vince
