Default help me figure out my stall (pulled tranny)

The guy I bought my car from told me my car had a stall. I am still confused on how to know if it is a stall or not.

Here is some details

It is grey in color
It has a4 stamped all along the top of it
on the side their is a tab welded to it with the numbers 15
along the side their is an impression that reads 3427p

Does this sound like an aftermarket stall or not?

How big is the stall? The stock one is a huge SOB. Most aftermarket stalls are much smaller. I believe a typical aftermarket stall is 9" in diameter.

Definately bigger than 9 inches. Its hard to measure end to end because of its size ,but it seems to be about 12 inches.
