Things to consider when picking a converter.?.?.?.? Im new to the AT thing and will be switching to the dark side soon.... 
What things are generally considered when picking a converter? Things that I can provide to a builder to help select the right one.
From what I gather things to provide are: dyno sheet, gears, cam, weight..... is this correct? Anything else?

Most builders will ask your setup, your goals, and some will ask about future mods. When I upgraded to my PT4400, Yank talked in depth about my current setup and actually recommended that I not get the 4400. My heart was set though, and I persuaded them to convert my SS4000 to my current monster. I explained my future goals and they said I would certainly grow into this converter. He was very honest with me as far as daily driveability and what I might be giving up in exchange for running such a large converter in a mostly street car, and I'm pleased to say he was spot on. IMO, I gave nothing up, but gained everywhere. This was exactly what I was looking for. He did offer to change it up as far as stall speed and STR were concerned, but I had to have the PT4400.
I'd recommend that you call and discuss your options. There's so many different directions you can go and it really helps when the builder tells you why one option is better for [B]your setup[B] that another one.
