problem
have i have a 2000 camaro with 22-2800 stall and bolt ons and can power brake it. ok problem is i just put in a torquer 2 cam why a wideband tune and it does not power brake anymore all it does is boggs and on top of that is when i gun it it just boggs and then it kicks. anyone know why, can it be the stall is not big enough
its possible not familiar with the powewr band of that cam but the stall ajust be too small and the power starts much higher.

I agree, you just changed the torque curve of the engine and now the converter does not have as much low end power. You need a higher stall converter to take advantage of the new cam.

I'd bet money that is the problem. A 3800-4000 stall would let the cam come alive. My son ran into the same problem with his Silverado after a cam change. That issue is being corrected with a new Circle D custom billet 258mm converter It's gonna be rolling hard very soon
A converter will take care of this but you might check the cam install to make sure it was not installed in a retarted state as some extra advance might help your bottom end torque loss.
