need help with tranny

ive had this problem for a wile now, whenever im crusin on the highway at around 50-60MPH, and then go WOT it downshifts to 2nd then when it shifts to 3rd the RPMs stay at the same place for about a second or 2 and the car wont pull then after those quick seconds it pulls again, this only happends when goin 50-60MPH anyone know what can be wrong??? thanks for any help

I think you might have run into a dead spot, buy a higher stall Tq converter and haul ***. I might be wrong but just my opinion. Good luck man.

i just bought a 3600 stall but wanted to fix this problem before puttin it in.

During this period of 2 seconds, you're still WOT or you've let off the gas when it shifts to 3rd?

If you're still WOT, are you hitting the limiter or no?

yea im still WOT wile it does this, i have to let off the gas and back on real quick and it will pull again or just wait for those qukk seconds till it pulls,
