Default Launching issues

Recently ive added a yank 3600 stall to my car. When i line up at the track to launch it, it seems to flash but takes off like its in 2nd gear then after a second or 2 it down shifts back into 1st takes off like a bat out of hell. Is it a tranny issue or tunning issue? This is off the bottle.

u are probably expirencing "Stall wall" its a component in ur computer that sends ur car into Limp mode... if u havent gotten the car tuned for this to be eliminated then it could happen... get a dyno tune or a mail order tune...

yes you definatly need a tune for a converter. Or you can hold it in 1st for as long as you wnat then shift it into second when you want to. be careful as that can cause heat issues if you over rev your motor.
