Default input shaft seal?

Do rebuild kits normally come with the input shaft seal? I've gone through 3 kits now and none had it. Is it round or square? It looks square but it might be from being compressed in the converter. odd i know

yeah the lock up oring. It doesn't live a good life in there if it starts out round. Thanks

Do you know if the green one and red are the same?
I've seen the green one forever in 4L60 and 4L60E kits, back then it was for the V6 trans only.

Now I always buy the red one from GM and it's slightly different than the green one.
Guess it would work, just wondering if anyone knew for sure. Do you know?
