Default what type of ATF

I am gettin ready to do a stall and a tranny flush whats the best type of ATF and about how many quarts do you need?
Ya i know kinda a newb question but jsut want to get it right

How many miles do you have on that trans. My car had like 95k with a slipping overdrive. When I changed the ATF overdrive went completely out. All the other gears was fine.

mine has about 65xxx on it and seems to be fine sometimes has a clunk when going slow, Like in a parking lot and i just coast it will shift up and make a hard jerk, not sure exactly what that is.

I plan on going through the whole drivline when i do this. I will have to check them.
