More Transmission Problems HELP!
I posted a thread on here recently with a transmission problem. I'm swapping an LS1 with a 4L60E into my 1977 corvette and I keep blowing out the line going from the tranny to the transmission cooler. First I thought the problem was a clogged vent line on top of the transmission, so I unclogged it and put another 8 quarts of fluid in, only to have the line blow out a second time on me.
So then I thought it could be a clog in the tranny cooler so I've bypassed that and just made a loop, with a pressure gauge so I can see what's going on... I'm STILL getting a steady 20 PSI in P,N,4,3,2,1; and almost 40 PSI in R. I'm pretty sure these lines aren't supposed to see this kind of pressure, right? Also, as far as I can tell the lines are just friction fit in, is there some kind of bracket that's supposed to hold them in? I'm completely at a loss here and I'm so ready to have this thing on the road. Thanks.

You have to remember that its not a dump its fed back through restrictive holes to bushngs and planets.
Presures can reach 80 psi at MAX LINE ,
