I have a built 4L60E with a transgo kit and fairbanks servos. When I down shift to first even under very light braking coming to a stop it feels as if it's taking too long to engage 1st and sets a trouble light.

The car is in auto config, not full manual and I rearely downshift it.

What could cause this and is it beating the parts up?
