Default Probelms with shifting automatic tranny

Hello can anyone tell what may be causing my car to jolt when I shift from park to drive? Sometimes it will turn off when I shift to drive. Also the engine is misfiring due to 2 damaged pistons and I am only driving it because i am buying a used ls1 next week. Any suggestions to why I am having trouble with shifting? Ive already replaced the transmission mount so I am thinking maybe its the torque arm mount?

The torque arm is possible however bear in mind a poor running engine will also cause the trans presures to be irractic and with two cylinders missfiring that could also account for the stalling when putting the car into gear,
