im doing a 5.3 swap into my 95 trans am will the auto transmission from a 2003 5.3 2x4 avalanche work with my 2000 trans am computer and wiring harness. also are the mounts different from the car to truck? do you guys see any problems?

 

from what i have heard the tailshaft has to be swapped to accept the torque arm mount and the shifting linkage must be swapped also.....dunno about the computer part...

 

ok do you know if a lt1 4l60e tail shaft fit?

 

The L1-1 tail housing will not fit you will need one from a 98 up f body.
The 2000 pcm will run the 2003 no issues or changes.
You will need to swap the linkage shaft from your old 4l60e to the new one its easy enough a bolt and a clip with the pan off. Because the truck one will be too long.
